Day 12 West Macdonnell Ranges by Adelaide.🦄

This morning we woke up in the horsefloat. I kind of slept in a bit.

When I woke up Bill kept on saying to Emily, “Emily get me a tissue” because Paddy had dribble running down his chin, so I kept on giving him one of my tissues. Now they have almost run out, so I just gave him the big, normal tissue box, but I still had to open the bin next to my bed. It was annoying, because I wanted to give Mum and Dad a huge hug 🤗 but by the time I was ready, Dad wanted to get out of bed.

 Then we had breakfast. For breakfast we had raison toast, but I didn’t like it, so I had normal toast with butter on it. 

Now we have to get dressed to go to some gorges and punch 🥊 some k’s out. We are driving and it’s really uncomfortable. I think I would prefer to walk, instead of getting a sore bottom. We’re still driving.🚘🚗

We’ve arrived at our destination finally. (Glen Helen Gorge)

We’re right next to the lake so we went down to it, and lunch is served.

We’re about to climb the gorge because we’ve almost finished lunch.🥗 🥙 🍴

We’ve done the gorge. It was shorter than I thought it was other wise you would have to swim.🏊🏻‍♀️🤽🏻‍♀️🏄🏼‍♀️

At the gorge we saw the Kohlhagens again.

A stranger missed her bus 🚌 so we drove to the bus and made it stop. 🚎 Then we came back to get her. I couldn’t stop laughing... I was crying 😂 

Now we are driving to another gorge. (Ormanston Gorge)  The gorge walk was short but we did another walk that was bigger.

Then we went to another place that had a gorge and Dad had a look while we stayed in the car with Paddy asleep. It wasn’t as good as the others, so we went to another place.  (Serpentine Gorge) We went to check it out, and it was better. I forgot to mention that we had ice cream’s.🍦 

Now we are driving to another gorge. That one was really quick but good. I was racing Bill up the sand hill and I got a head start but he still beat me by 5 or 10 m when I was still coming up the hill. Dad took a photo of us.

Now we are driving again and Scratch is crying😢 a lot. Now Patch is asleep. We stopped at a petrol station but I don’t know what we did there I think we got some fuel. ⛽️ 

We’re heading to the float. Now we’re just chilling out and cooking dinner.

It’s night time but I’m not tired at all.

Tea’s ready now mmm mmm! Mum and Tilly made hamburgers.

We’re going to have a shower 🚿 now.

We sure hope that the showers aren’t cold because they are cold in the night but we are still going.

We’ve had our shower 🚿 some of them were cold and the others were hot. Mine was warmish.☀️ 

Now we are just talking about stuff and that.👧🏼👩🏼👱🏻‍♀️👱🏻‍♂️👶🏻👦🏻👱🏻‍♂️🤱.

I forgot to say but we had a few accidents in our family when we did the gorge’s.

It’s bed time now.

In bed we went to bed late and I didn’t have a good night sleep!
