Day 11 Kings Canyon to Alice Springs! By Emily!🐴

This morning I layed in bed playing with Jess, Bill, and Adelaide, until Dad came and said that we had to smash some k’s out. I then reminded Mum to get the mince out, so that we could have hamburgers for tea. We did our jobs quickly and hopped in the car. (It was my turn to go in Mum’s car)

Sad news is that we just saw a dead camel, we thought it was a buffalo, so we stopped to take a photo;

But the good news is that we just saw another ten more wild camels on the side of the road, but this time they were alive!

On the way to Alice Springs we saw a car that looked liked The Lieschke’s car they were waving ,so we turned around and chased them for a little while, but they didn’t stop. When we got closer we thought  it wasn’t them. We got a bit embarrassed. We turned back to try and catch Dad. We then saw Dad trying to chase them as well, but they still wouldn’t stop. We gave up on them, and are now meeting Dad at  Erldunda.

We have now arrived at Erldunda. We had lunch there and it was very, very busy!

We saw a 3 carriage road train that was hogging the whole petrol station!

We saw some eagles on the way to Alice Springs.

Also, on the way to Alice Springs we listened to some music, that sent Paddy to sleep.
In no time we arrived at Alice Springs. We are very happy with our spot that we were given, but the bad thing is that we are not aloud to have a fire.
We went to go have a shower, even Paddy. We had a shower very early, since the showers run out of hot water at night. It was the best shower of the trip, because the shower head actually didn’t have only three holes that the water came out of, it actually had a drain, the first twist of the hot water was perfect temperature, also when you go to walk back to camp you don’t get red sand all over your feet!

We then played with Adelaide’s netball.

We just stopped to go shopping.

We are getting KFC for tea ready for State Of Origin.
I watched till half time of the State of Origin, but I was way to cold!

Unfortunately QLD won that game, but luckily NSW won 2 out of 3 games, so they won the trophy!

We are now going to bed!
                         Goodnight!

P.S last night I fell out of bed, while I was still in my sleeping bag. I was so tired that I layed there for a while, until Dad said that I had to go back to bed.
