It took us a very long time to pack up, but when we finally finished packing up the float, there was still plenty more to do like washing the car.
When we finally got on the road at quarter to seven, we realised that it wasn’t going to work. The float was way too heavy for the car, and it was always weaving on the road!and when we got to a T-intersection to wait for the cars to go past, the float pulled us back down a little slope. When we finally reached our grandparents house at Table Top, we made the decision that we were going to go back home tomorrow and get the F-truck to tow the float, and take the land cruiser, so we were going to have to take two cars. At Gagga and Dazzles house (grandma and grandpa) we saw our other cousins that were staying the night there.
Gagga made homemade sausage-rolls for tea and stewed fruit for dessert that tasted great. That is all I can tell you about, so that’s goodnight from me.
