Day 18 The Lions Den to Cairns! By Adelaide🌭🍟🍕🥞

When we woke up this morning I looked out my window trying to figure out where we were. Then I realised we were at the Lions Den. It was a beautiful place there and we didn’t want to leave. That was until it started raining then we were ready to get the heck out of there. But before we left we went down to the river to watch Bill have an attempt to fish. After around about 10 minutes he still didn’t catch anything so we kept going. While we were walking back we saw a funny looking caterpillar!

We on the road in the car doing nothing. Bill, Emily and I are in Mums car. We finally stoped at a BP. While Dad fuels up us kids go into the shop and look for some stickers.

We back in the car and we drive and drive and drive until Mum introduced lollies. Yum! Soon they are all gone!

We are going past a town now it is a beautiful town and it pretty much has everything. We decide to eat here but then we change our mind and keep going.

More driving and nothing too interesting has come up so I decide to have a little nap. It didn’t feel like that long but before I knew it we were at the caravan park. It is still raining but Paddy, Bill and I decided to go in the pool. It was so much fun but it was also cold and Bill didn’t even get in so after a while Paddy and I got out. 

Once we got back from the pool we just chillaxed (that’s chilled and relaxed). Dad said once he had a shower we would go out and have tea. Mmmm mmmmm.

We are now heading into town for tea.

While we were trying to find a place to eat we found some market’s that we thought we might like so we had a quick look and Dad told us we could come back after tea. We found a place called The Pier. I ordered nuggets and chips as usual. It was a good feed and after tea we got to go to Cold Rock Ice Creamery for dessert. I got a rainbow ice cream with gummy bears and wizz-fizz for the toppings. Mmm mmm mmm! Except once I started to eat it wasn’t so “Mmm mmm mmm! The gummy bears went hard and the wiz-fizz was a more sour than usual. 

When we were eating our ice creams Bill spotted a Souviner shop that he wanted to go to so we went over and I got a squishy and stick on earrings.

We then went back to the markets and I got a simple dimple there. We were at the markets for a bit and while we were there we found out a fish massages had actual fish that eat your feet for a massage. Dad was still at another pub watching Tim Tzu fight so we went back to him but when we got there they were still on the first round (it only went for three rounds though the other dude got knocked to the ground three times). So we went  back to camp while Dad stayed at the pub and made a new friend called Wayne which is a coincidence because the bloke that broke Dads ribs was called Wayne too. We are now back at camp getting ready to go to bed so……
