Day 44 Carnarvon to Denham by Tilly

This morning we got up and made toast for breaky. Then we got in the car and drove to the dish at Carnarvon to have a look.
We went to the museum and had a look. The first thing we did was go in a fake spaceship. It felt like you were in a real spaceship, and it had TVs on the Side for Windows.

While we were in there, smoke came out.

Then we had a look at the nbn satallite that went into space.this helps make the nbn work.

After that we saw the rover that landed on Mars, and was controlled by people on Earth.

There was a tiny piece of moon, but we didn't get a photo. There was also a bit of a spaceship that fell onto the Earth.
Then we had a look at the space game room. We all crash landed the spacecraft, but Dad landed it.

Then we took a photo on the cardboard astronauts. Dad was holding Bill in the air, but you can't see him.

Then we got a postcard and a poster each, and a coin to share.

Now we are driving. We just stopped at a petrol station called the Overlander Roadhouse. We got some petrol, then we got back in the car, and now we are driving again.
We have made it to Denham. We had a look to see if the blue lagoon pearl shop was open, but it wasn't, so Dad rang and asked when they open. They said they are closed until Monday, but they can open it.
Dad bought Jess and I an opal surrounded by a pearl, and Emily a necklace. Jess' is the one on the right and mine is on the left.

The man that was running it didn't have a voice box, so he had a hand held speaker voice box, and the lady had the same glasses as me.
Then we went to the shop next door and Emily and I got a necklace, and an oyster with a pearl in it, but you don't know which colour you will get.

Then we walked to the car and had a look at the ocean, which looked like Mums new pearl.

Adelaide is happy with her doll, and Bill is happy with his shark teeth. Then we got in the car and drove to a pub for tea. I had half a chicken palmi. At the pub Mum asked if any of us feel homesick. Jess said no, she just misses our big TV screen. Now we are in the float about to go to sleep. Goodnight.
