Day 35 Broome to 80 Mile Beach. By Caroline

Today we said goodbye to Broome and started heading home.  Danny told the staff at the caravan park that we would see them again next year, and I am not sure if he was joking or not. We had to navigate through the caravan park for a while so that we could hit the exit gate straight on, and somehow Danny managed to get us out.

We went to the Outback Spirit depot where the boys gave the float a bit of love, and we said goodbye to the Blanchards.

Out next stop was Roebuck Roadhouse so that Bill could do some shopping.  He loves number plates, and the animal warning road signs. He now has so many that he has run out of space on his wall.
You can see why he loves this place.

We then drove to 80 Mile Beach where we are staying tonight. The tide is out and the beach is covered in shells.  Bill and Danny tried to go for another fish, but they ended up sinking in the mud, so gave up.

Another pretty sunset and amazing stars.
